‘It’s better sometimes knowing when to quit instead of lying to yourself, or anyone you care about the most.’ – Mike Banning (Angel Has Fallen)
From Olympus to London, Mike Banning, played by Gerard Butler has stayed loyal on his job but getting old is his main problem. With him getting affected of the previous battles he had in the past, his health is at stake but with his determination when it comes to his job, he continues without even telling, President Trumbull, played by Morgan Freeman, about his condition.

With the higher chance of getting promoted, Mike continued to keep his condition
hidden from the eyes of his family, friends, colleagues and the president.
On a fishing day, with all the special forces, keeping an eye of the president, they were ambushed leaving Mike and the president alive, which later on made the FBI suspected that Mike is the person behind the attack which Mike believed is a plot to take him down.
With President Trumbull’s safety at risk, FBI has decided to put Mike in the wanted list but Mike was then made sure of it that he will prove his innocence and his loyalty to the President and his beloved job.

The movie has prove that action movies are still in; I like how they attack the viewers by showing that even heroes have weakness and downfall, it depends on how they will take this downfall with them. Movies like these are coming out so seldom however, sequels must have this plot at times which reminds me of the Avengers: Infinity War, like you don’t always win in life, you have to face struggle to enjoy the rest.
I like how they put Mike’s dad in the story and how he helped him when everyone has turned him down. Because in our lives, when no one else believes in us, it is our parents who will be the last person who will doubt us.
Honestly, at first, I was being skeptical for this another sequel but I was stereotyping when I did that, I didn’t expect that they will make something more out of the story and it does make sense. The movie has challenged the viewers to complete the puzzle a little more than we did before.
The story of the movie has focused on the family ties and the loyalty. I’m pretty sure the ones who haven’t seen it will like it more than the other previous sequels.
I’d give this 85% wonderroanne rating.
