“Getting old is a gift. I forget that sometimes, but it is. What more could a guy possibly want?” – Eddie Gilpin
Once again, another action-comedy filled movie has set the bars real high. With the success of the previous Jumanji Movie, comes the newest sequel directed by Jake Kasdan and was released all over the world last 12th of December, making $365M gross profit.
Jumanji, to all those who are not familiar, it is an old game found my four friends youngsters which brought them into the world of the game, making the game look like as if it was real. On the first movie, they were able to defeat the game and now, the story continues from where it all began. When Martha played by Morgan Turner, Bethany played by Madison Iseman and Fridge played by Ser’Darius Blain, decided to get together, Spencer played by Alex Wolff was no show and they decided to check up on him at his house where they met Spencer’s grandfather Eddie who was played by Danny DeVito and his friend Milo Walker played by Danny Glover. All went well until they went downstairs and found the game console which Spencer seem to tried to fix.

Thinking that Spencer went inside the game again, the three decided to enter the game only to find out that they brought the two oldies with them.
In the movie, they tried to brief the oldies on what was the game all about and what will happen to them. Along the way, finding Spencer, they discovered that the game is busted and has minor changes which was also explained later in the movie. You don’t want to miss the new strengths and weaknesses of each of the characters.
I love how the game became busted and added more characters and the whole movie is funny as is, thanks to Kevin Hart and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who’s playing as two of the Jumanji game characters. And Karen Gillian is still gorgeous as ever.

Plus, Let’s just have a moment for Nick Freakin Jonas!!!! I so love him!!! And also Awkwafina, which makes the movie a little quirky.
As the saying goes, you cannot teach an old dog a new trick but in this movie, looks like the oldies were the ones who taught the kids something important and that is friendship.
With it’s new plot and possibility of having a new sequel (as for the credits) I think Jumanji didn’t disappoint its viewers just as like in the first movie and I think we deserve another Jumanji sequel.
The verdict, well, all in all, everything is great and it remarkably awesome. I’m going to give the movie 90% wonderroanne rating.
