Well, the 1970s TV Series Fantsy Island was resurrected in a movie directed by Jeff Wadlow. Making a reboot out of a fantasy series is a bit of a challenge.

The story of the movie is about an island where a visitor’s fantasy is redirected for him to happen as if it happens in the real life. With the visitors thinking they have won a prize by visiting the island, they are in for a much better surprise.

The owner of the island, Mr. Roarke played by Michael Peña, makes his guests’ dreams and fantasies come true no matter how impossible it was but little did they know that those dreams are actually going to turn into their worst nightmare.

Of course, included o the cast is Lucy Hale who played before in thriller/suspense film Truth or Dare, the story begins on how they will escape the mystery of the island and how they will all survive.

Well, it was definitely the worst movie I’ve ever seen this year.I bet I would know what will happen even just by playing the 10-minute mark of the film alone.

I don’t like it. Just as simple as that. I heard of the terrible reviews about it and all I can say is…they’re right. It’s such a waste for a production. But, yes we can’t make every movie at its peak.

There’s no specific like and don’t likes here coz the movie alone has gotten me into the boredom zone on the 1st few minutes. I was actually planning on going out of the cinema before it even end but why would I do that eh? I review movies for the sake of telling people what I think about it even if it was bad.

All in all I would give this a credit, a 65% wonderroanne rating.
