The suspect is a white man in the name of Robert Aaron Long, 21. After a manhunt, they were able to arrest the suspect 150 miles south of Atlanta. In Wednesday, Mar 17, Robert is charged of eight counts of murder and one count of aggravated assault. Most of the victims were Asians which caused it to be linked to Asian hate crimes, however, according to the authorities, the reason for the shootings were merely racial hate but the suspect is allegedly suffering from sexual addiction. The suspect told the police that he had to eliminate the parlors as these are symbols for sexual temptation.
