In 2022, many movies and TV Series were out, romance, horror, action and suspense or book adaptations, all of it, I’ve got my latest list updated for my readers to enjoy. I would love to give you a list of movies that I have watch form July till this date to be able to fill you up with good stuff to watch while you’re having your long weekend or even just a night out with friends and lovers.

These are the movies/TV Series that you need to watch:

Along for the Ride – Based on the novel by Sarah Design, directed by Sofia Alvarez, this romantic film is about Auden who wanted to spend the summer before her college different from the others. She met Eli, who was a popular fella in her dad’s town, played by Emma Pasarow and Belmont Cameli this wild but fun story about Auden’s journey to discovering herself before entering college is somehow gonna make you recall your memories when you visit a place to spend the whole summer with and the people whom you met while doing the adventure. Verdict – 88% Wonderroanne rating, all the goods were there. If you’re a teen, you’ll definitely gonna love the movie and of course the little drama will get you hooked up.

Persuasion – A film based on the novel of the same title of my favorite author, Jane Austen. Directed by Carrie Cracknell, played by Dakota Johnson as Anne Elliot, who in after eight years, finally met her ex-boyfriend whom she broke up with because of his status when they were still together. Now that Captain Wentworth is rich and seeking for a wife, would a second chance possible? Although a rekindle of love that they had before is quite impossible because now that Wentworth is actually a dashing bachelor, everyone likes to marry him. Would Anne be able to express her longing to be back on Wentworth’s arms or she will be left in vain knowing she won’t be able to be back in his arms all over again? Verdict – 90% Wonderroanne rating. I love the book more than anything else and I think they have passed my expectations when it comes to imagining how the movie was supposed to be. I think there’s so much more to like in this especially it is Dakota playing. I love her bunch! This will definitely be a good watch if you like watching classical books turned movies.

Through My Window – A story about two teenagers who are living different worlds but connected by the same WiFi. I know the movie is quite daring and all, it is a story about Raquel, played by Clara Galle, who has been having a crush with her hot neighbor, Ares, played by Julio Pena for a very long time which was revealed after he hacked his way to Raquel’s WiFi. The story revolve around the two and their on and off entanglement with each other. For Ares, it is very hard for him to commit and for Raquel, Ares will be the same playboy she always knew but she really wanted him to fall in love with her. Verdict – 90% Wonderroanne rating. I love the movie, and it also felt a little comical for me coz it was romantic and funny at the same time. It gave me a YA romance novel vibe. I like how character build up was there and personally, I like characters that are growing in the movie. I always want that happy ending.

Royal Teen – This movie is about a teenager who left her disturbing past to start anew. However, she definitely not gonna be living a simple life after getting smitten with the Royal Prince and yes, that’s another challenge she needs to face. How can her past be entangled by her present? and how can her present relive her past? yes, I know it is quite a story to tell. Verdict – 83% Wonderroanne rating. The movie was okay but I felt a little odd knowing that the story is quite interesting however the actors aren’t that much of a match for their roles like, the Prince doesn’t actually look royal to me, however, they quite dressed up well like the royals that we know of, but it is really different. I think there will be more capable actors and actresses to play each part, but plot wise, it is quite good.

365 Days: This Day – This movie is the third installment for the movie series 365 Days, an adaptation of the Polish Book of the same title. Well, this third sequel is a little debatable, I’m not sure if all the viewers will like it especially if they have watched the past two movies but this movie is also a little controversial, aside from the conflicts happening, Laura needs to choose among her desires and never let one decision cause her a major regret. Of course, after watching this movie, I was a little too overwhelmed but not in a good way, I was expecting more, especially when I know how the real story in the book went. Verdict – 80% Wonderroane rating. It’s not bad but it’s not good either, I liked the first one, then the second, I kinda let it slide and then this? I think not all stories deserve a sequel, some deserve to have it all in one story alone. But there are definitely surprising scenes that I didn’t expect and just wow!

Hello, Goodbye and Everything in Between –Okay this is the story of two high schoolers that were bound to live their whole high school life trying to assume everything that’s gonna happen. Of course, we all know when you meet someone, you’re gonna spend time with them and then basically fall in love and then have problems, fight about it and get back together and then eventually break up and live your life as a stranger again. Claire and Aidan had everything planned so they made a pact to break up before they enter college but like they always say, everything never goes as planned so what will happen if suddenly, before college, they both don’t know how to rewrite and just delete everything and break up? What if life planned something different? Would it be worth the pact they promised or will it be just as any other plans going to be made ahead? Verdict – 88% Wonderroanne rating. Typical high school love story, I knew how the story will go even before getting into the end but I love how it showed some points that many of us should learn, never go as planned, yes, that’s it. I like it how the movie is so straightforward. No hard dramas just a simple teenage drama that I think we can all relate to. Plus, I love Jordan Fisher, he reminds me of someone I’ve met before šŸ«£

Wedding Season – This is story about Indian-American family culture where two individuals were forced to find love or should I say were forced to date someone that they’re families choose for them. This is a very relatable story to all the people of different culture, especially those who are being fixed to marry someone they haven’t met or someone they don’t know but their parents knew. Asha and Ravi decided to con their way to please their own parents and in the end, the mixed up made them a good pair, with or without their parents’ help. Verdict – 90% Wonderroanne rating. I love the modern touch of the plot and I think many people with the same culture and tradition will be able to relate to the story because this story doesn’t just happen once in a blue moon, it actually happens every day in every corners of the world but in a different kind of arrangement. The story was not special but how they keep the story going is, because there’s so much to discover about fixed marriage and how it affects the family and the ones who are involved. There’s so much to learn in this movie. if you don’t know anything about fixed marriage then this movie is a good start.

After Ever Happy – Okay, After, After we fall and After we Collide, did you think those were the end? No. There’s so much more to discover when it comes to Tessa and Hardin and a lot more chaos to face but in the end we will just see how really strong love can actually be. I know it sounded so clichĆ© because I have watched the last three entries of this movie series, yes, if you’re asking yourselves, this is actually an adaptation of the famous novel of Anna Todd. And after everything that happened in the two sequels, what more can they offer, right? Is this a beginning or an end to something? Well, I won’t spoil but it is for you to see. Verdict – 84% Wonderroanne rating. I’m sure we are just getting too overwhelmed after seeing two sequels and usually the third is the most boring of all but this time I didn’t feel that much. I think there’s so much more into this story and I think Hardin deserve to have a story that revolves on him alone because even in books, he is the most interesting of them all. Like we just wanted to know more of him more than anyone else in the movie. I still can see why I loved the book when I was reading the series and yes, it deserves a pass!
