Emily In Paris S3: The Most Complicated One Yet?

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Well, hello there. I just want to do a recap of the first two seasons of Emily in Paris, yes, we are in season 3 by now and I hope you are actually catching up. Well, if you wanna read all my reviews about this show, these are the links, Season 1 and Season 2. anyway, as I’ve said, I’d be gladly refreshing you about the past season,

In the first and second season, Emily was transferred to their office Paris to substitute for her boss and then she meant to work with the Paris office only to find out the French culture is more aficionado that any culture there is. While in Paris, she needs to study the language, understand the people and be friends with her French colleagues which wasn’t the easiest for our lady Emily. When she left for Paris she also left her boyfriend in Chicago and met Gabriel,

a handsome chef who is apparently a neighbor and yes, a future prospect but little did she know, Gabriel has a girlfriend, Camille whom she became friends with before she even met her as Gabriel’s girlfriend, and then they made a pact not to date Gabriel because it’s just gonna ruin their friendship and then, Camille just broke that pact and continue dating Gabriel. Which concludes us into the scene where she mets Alfie, a classmate on French Class whom she got close with-and I mean close, really close- and she obviously decided to date. However, with all the complication and feelings that she still has for Gabriel. Emily just won’t give in and so Alfie asked her if she could commit into a relationship with him but Emily Cooper was undecided and so Alfie decided to go back to London and leave Emily. On the other hand, Emily’s boss in Chicago arrives in Paris to fix some loopholes in their Paris account and Sylvie (Emily’s French Boss) decided to quit her job together with the other team and create her own agency.

And that’s a quick recap of the two seasons. And now, we are here in the third one, after Alfie left, Emily decided to focus on what is more important, which is her job. as far as Sylvie knows, Emily joined her new company, however, she haven’t told her Chicago boss, Madeline, with regards her decision and so, she is doing both job without the two parties knowing, however, this was short-lived as they discovered that she’s lying and then Emily tried to convinced Madeline that Sylvie is the only President that their marketing company needs but, ego of the big bosses were to high, neither felt the need to say sorry. At some point, Madeline did, but it was a very short moment only. After the disaster, Sylvie started losing clients and then she tried to ruin her previous company by making them leave however possible.

Eventually, after all the catastrophe, there’s a good thing that happened from it, Alfie is back in Paris and Emily is trying to win him back but of course, that’s not an easy job. I would love to spoil some details but I better not, because I think this season is full of surprises (not only about Emily but for everyone too) and I think, viewers deserve more than my spoilers. I like to keep the surprise. Well, I promise you that once a trailer for season 4 has come, we will talk about all the things that we need to talk about this season, cause I know there will be lots of theories on it.

The Verdict

Basically, there’s not much to say but a big WOAH! the last two episode were quite interesting, I thought it will just end as simple as it was but no, it did end with some unexpected realities that we could’ve foreseen however, the writers of this series were good at surprises and so, yes, I didn’t quite expect the ending, although, I had some idea but it was never enough for be to be able to ace the whole ending.

I love the third season more the second one, coz there’s so much going on in this season that 8 episodes are actually not enough to conclude the whole thing. I know for sure, there will be a season 4 and I hope we will be able to watch it soon coz we just want to know what happens to all the lovers in the series, there were quite many, okay? That’s why it is more interesting than it was before. This deserves a 90% wonderroanne rating!

I’d definitely recommend you to watch all of the episodes so we could catch up and meet halfway.
