Well, if the action stars Denzel Washington, then you know that is one heck of a film. Equalizer movies have been one of the best action films of all time. It all started with The Equalizer TV Series which was aired in 1985, then they turned it into movie on 2014, then the next movie was a long wait for at least 4 years, released on July 2018 and then it got its reboot as TV Series by 2021 and then here we are again after two years, we are talking about Equalizer despite the years of thinking the story is done.

I won’t pay much attention to details because I know everyone who watched have known that most of the equalizer movies are entirely the same. Well, this third one is different because Robert McCall (Played by Denzel Washington) is actually trying to live a normal life, just what every murderer/killer in all of the action movies we’ve watched wanted to happen in their retirement. The movie revolves on his life in Italy and his new found friends. Most of the time, Italy is know because of its Mafia stories and yes, I guess our friendly assassin just befriended one or most of them during his stay in Sicily.

There are also more exciting things to watch in this movie. You’ll get to see characters from previous sequels and you’ll feel like this is actually a reunion movie.

I won’t spoil the movie, All I could say is that, it is Denzel Washington, what more do you need to know?

To be honest, lately, I felt like movies are more alike, plots and character build ups, like most of the movies being released nowadays are too predictable not to know what’s next. Or maybe, I am the only one who thinks of that because I have watched so many movies that almost every week, I have an entry in my head. The Equalizer, however, just proved to me that there’s something more to its story, coz it can actually lead to more deeper story than I was expecting.

I will definitely give this 80% wonderroanne rating.
