What happens when naughty kids just decided to ruin Christmas by abducting Red, also known as Santa Claus, whom we know is the person who gives gifts to nice kids every Christmas, well, you know the whole story, no need to have the specifics.

This movie, starring J.K. Simmons as Red, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson as Callum Drift, and Chris Evans as Jack O’Malley, is about how Gryla, the Christmas Witch, successfully abducted Santa Claus and planned to get rid of all the people who are in the naughty list. Jack, was the key on tracking Gryla as he is the one who actually helped her track Santa on his magical secret base in North Pole.

Now, Jack and Callum needs to team up in order to find Red and save Christmas from being taken away form everyone. Will they be successful or is it really a time for Santa to just stay in story books?

This movie is a timely one since next month will be Christmas and it is also a reminder for kids and kids at heart that it’s a holiday of miracles and possibilities. This movie showed how the Santa Claus story still live in our hearts and will probably continue living until we also have our own kids in the future.

The movie is however predictable but it worked, like we always knew what will happen next biut is still catching our attention. Chris and The Rock has captured the hearts of the viewers especially on how they portray such comic yet serious roles. This is somehow a make or break movie coz I feel like we’ve known both of these actors through Marvel, DC and F&F franchise, so to see them explore this kind of characters is actually a new deal.

All in all, I don’t really have any comments aside from this is a chill and relax movie that the whole family will enjoy watching. I would definitely give this a 80% wonderroanne rating.
