Avengers: The Endgame (Whatever It Takes, Spoiler-Free Review)

“If we can’t protect the earth, you can be damned sure we’ll avenge it.” -Tony Stark, Avengers.

Note: No spoilers from the movie were spilled in this review. We respect, Stan.

Who would’ve known that from the very first entry of Iron Man last 2008, the MCU will grow and will relive comic heroes from Marvel Comics for the last 10 years? I’m so sure Stan Lee, was able to calculate that somehow.

This April 24, Marvel Studios has released the last instalment of the Avengers. From Iron Man to Infinity War, we were there and we saw how it grew up from 21 films for 10 years, which definitely no any other rival was able to break record, not even the DC Comics. Aside from the release of Captain Marvel from Marvel Studios, here it comes another ‘Captain Marvel’ (Comics speaking) from the DC Universe. Yes, Shazam was supposed to be the Captain Marvel of the DC Universe but since there’s a possible legal issues with Marvel Comics, they dropped the idea and published him as Shazam instead.

Well, if you asked those comic fans, you’ll know some major changes that the movie had compare to the original one and I think it is just right on every DCU Movies, Continue reading “Shazam: Say My Name (A Moview)”

Us Movie: Doppelgangers Unleashed (A Moview)

“They look exactly like us. They think like us. They know where we are. We need to move and keep moving. They won’t stop until they kill us… or we kill them.” – Adelaide Wilson

From the director of the “genre conflict” movie Get Out, Jordan Peele, another mind bugging movie has been released on March 21, Thursday in all the cinemas.

Played by some of the best stars in Hollywood, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Elisabeth Moss, and Tim Heidecker. Many people, including myself, has been so eager to have another thrilling movie from Jordan Peele and this time, he made it more exciting. Us is very different from the movie Get Out but entails the same suspense.

The movie is as much as scary as the Get Out but in a cringe-kind of way. This time, Jordan Peele, had given us a full-on horror film that didn’t disappoint. All the scenes are mysterious and the whole film is mind-bugging.

The story focuses on the experience of Adelaide Wilson (played by Lupita Nyong’o) when she was a little girl. The mystery in her life started after Continue reading “Us Movie: Doppelgangers Unleashed (A Moview)”

Butler Jamon: I have been here thirty-five years. This is my home.

Before we do the review, let’s just take a quick recap of whatever is happening in the news right now. Just a week ago, many of us were shocked by the news that a shooting attack happened in New Zealand and the gunman had filmed the whole thing live. Many of us, I’m sure, has witnessed the gruesome killing and we all pray for the souls of those who died.

The attack happened in Christ Church Mosque, stealing the lives of 50 of our Muslim friends and 50 more was left injured.

Just exactly a week after the attack, Hotel Mumbai was released. (Although the movie was pulled out and not released in New Zealand in respect for the event.) I know some of us might think it’s not important but I think the movie was released just in the perfect time.

For those who haven’t watched the movie, please do so. And of course, we will have to start this moview with a disclaimer.

Disclaimer: Everything that is written is a product of a research and a news compilation. This blog is merely about an opinion from my side being and with all of my might, I sincerely pray together with the families of all the deceased in both Mumbai and New Zealand Attacks.

This blog is written to review the Hotel Mumbai movie and to talk about the recent event that happened in New Zealand. Some facts about the Taj Hotel attack will be mentioned too.
