Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning (A Moview)

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Maybe this is the final entry in the Mission Impossible film series, MI: The Final Reckoning has set another standard when it comes to action movies. Well, in this era, if it’s not Tom Cruise, Jason Statham, or Keanu Reeves, we’ll have to think about it twice. The Final Reckoning was set at the time where Ethan (played by Tom Cruise) needed to choose who to save, the world, or his friends. He has to do the impossible to be able to retrieve the entity and kill it but along the way, he lost people that are important in his life and he met again some of those who became part of his journey. It was like a mini reunion for some of the actors he worked with during the previous film installments.

In this journey, Ethan had to work again with the US government to prevent the entity from launching all nuclear missiles available in the globe and possibly ruin the entire mankind. To all those who don’t know know, The Entity is a self aware AI that has its own mind and can actually penetrate in cybersecurity and predict what will happen in the future. This technology was the main point of the whole Mission Impossible movie franchise. Not knowing, Ethan was the one who made it possible for the Entity to exist. Every move that Ethan made in the previous movies, it had an effect with the Entity.

Transformers One Review: Somebody Has To…

Rating: 4 out of 5.

“A line between a friend and enemy is not as clear as I once believed, once it’s crossed, there’s no going back because transformations are permanent”- Orion Pax, Optimus Prime.

In the world where everything is just too realistic and everything has forgotten physical toys and just play digital toys instead, some Gen-z don’t even know that Transformers, Ninja Turtles, Marvels and DC Superheroes were actually toys before they even made it to the big screens. But seeing them in the reels are actually a sign of how technology has progressed throughout the years. We have seen so many Transformers movies through out the special years of robots but we actually never saw a prequel until last year and now, they are actually giving us the taste of a real prequel.

Black Knight: Some Time In The Future?

Some of the well-known Dystopian movies were mostly made by American production, to name a few, we have Divergent, Hunger Games, Maze Runner and these movies were actually adapted from Sci-fi Young Adult Books that were published more than 10 years ago. One of the most unique Dystopian movie that I have watched was also In Time, in which they have timers in their arms that signifies the life span they have, the more time you got, the more time you can live. It was starred by Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried. To add more, you have The Purge movies, 5th Wave, Death Cure and Planet of the Apes Movie series. These movies are depicting the possible future of there world when everything has been destroyed or the political background of each of every one of us has changed and the society has completely depend its ways to survive to a new system. These are works of art that represents the great mystery and wilderness.

I know when you say dystopian, some of you will think this is another useless action movie that shows how life will continue even after the apocalypse or the judgement day but this however, in reality, constructs the same pyramids of priority that the present society have, although they just dress it into after-the-end kind of situation, but I believe that whoever made these stories, plots, they know what they are talking about, and they have seen injustice with their own eyes.

And surprisingly, they have Han the chance to prove herself by having different kinds of roles.

The Rookies: A Moview

So last week, I watched this Chinese produced film, The Rookies, starring Darren Wang, playing as an extreme sport enthusiast, climbing buildings while streaming it live. While streaming, he accidentally entered a meeting of mafias which made him a target, thinking that he is one of the buyers of this virus which can grow plants into human bodies.

Well, I was surprised that it was a Chinese film , maybe it was my mistake that I didn’t read about it. I just saw that it’s a movie which starred Milla Jovovich, Continue reading “The Rookies: A Moview”
