Dating Game: What’s the difference between girls and guys when it comes to dating?

Dating. This is hard to study and navigate. Especially when it comes to its similarities and differences because there’s a lot of them. I think this is a perfect chance to know the things we need to prepare when it comes to dating and I decided to be the one who will give you the little deets that many dating books never tell you.

I know that you’ll ask if what do I know about things like this especially now that I’m actually single. Well, the reason why I’m single is because apparently, I have been dating the wrong way and trying to impress the wrong guys. Curious? Okay let’s begin…

Us girls, we are usually being pursued because that is the society made us believe, well, the thing is, sometimes, being pursued can be a good thing and not-so-good-thing. By the time we like the guy that we are dating, he might have figured out how to read our minds and all the things that they don’t want us to know. Fast forward to this century, I don’t think being pursued is even an option, well, there are some but I think we should know that the generation has changed, most of girls nowadays are independent and can even live up to pursuing whoever they like but the problem is, we are likely to meet guys that take advantage of us no matter what the situation is.

So I think I’ve got a number of them in my list. Funny how I say this but this is as per my experience and friends’ experiences when it comes to dating.

How Life Works With Anxieties?

Every day is a challenge. When was the last time you sat down and know yourself? When was the last time you evaluate how you feel? or when was the last time you were able to control your anger or tears in public? There are so many questions lying around when we talk about mental health. It starts when people ask you “How do you feel?” Coz that simple question is literally a million-dollar worth for a person who doesn’t even know what to feel.

Depression, Anxieties, Panic attacks, they all bring something in someone that we don’t understand; one thing that I learned while experiencing the same is that people will question the validity of the things that you feel; “All of a sudden you change your mood?” these are the words that a person with depression is scared to hear; feeling that whatever they are experiencing is a little invalid for everyone. Coz yes, not everyone will understand you, but you don’t have to explain whatever you feel to anyone. Whatever you feel, it is valid.

Encanto: The Non-Gifted Are Also Gifted(A Moview)

The truth is gift or no gift, I’m just as special as everyone in my family.

Disney has made it again, from Moana to Coco to Luca, I think Disney has started to introduce ethnic characters to all the viewers coz for all I know, Pocahontas holds that title ever since. This new movie released at the end of 2021, entitled Encanto, this is based on Colombian culture that tackles about a family who was saved by a magical candle that the light does put out.

The movie is focused on an entire town that was hidden by magic and saved from conquerors. It is led by the Madrigal family’s eldest, Abuela. Each of the Madrigal’s were gifted magic that gave their town hope, light and all things that they need. Let’s enumerate the family tree and their powers:

Al Kameen (الكمين): The Ambush (A Moview)

Directed by the infamous director, Pierre Morel of Taken, the film industry had set foot to the Middle East to showcase a story of bravery and brotherhood, based on a true story, Al Kameen (The Ambush) is one of the largest Arabic production that has been made with almost hundreds of cast and crew and written renowned writes such as Brandon Birtell of Furious 7 and Kurtis Birtell of Medal of Honour, this action-packed film that was shot in UAE, produced by Image Nation Abu Dhabi and AGC Studios, is narrating the story of Emirati soldiers who were ambushed during a mission in Yemen, where Squad Commander Col Almazrouei had to rescue his brother (in uniform) from an attack led by huge numbers of gunmen and snipers that took 7 hours long, killing one of their men.

Al Kameen (الكمن) is not only about soldiers fighting for their lives but also a story about camaraderie, and companionship and the family that was left behind by every soldier fighting for their country and for the peace of the world. This is not only for Emirati soldiers but this is also the story of almost all soldiers that are getting deployed in a foreign country without any assurance if they will come back alive or in one piece.

YOU: Season 3 (A Moview)

The universe has a funny way of keeping us humble. That beating was karmic. I know it. I did a bad thing today but for a good reason, and if there is any justice in the world, you are the reward for all of my suffering.

And there you have it, another hand down to Joe Goldberg for making all the red flags yet again so unclear. Yes, you know why I said this? Coz the TV Series YOU is making us confuse on what red flags really are, are we naturally masochistic or we just enjoy domination…ooops that’s for Mr. Grey to decide though. Anyway, It’s been two seasons passed and here we are again, getting together for one purpose only and it is to see another Joe Goldberg story but this time the plot is a lot more interesting coz not only Joe have found his soulmate but he has his life imprisoned from his own sins. IF you haven’t watched the 1st and 2nd season then this is your sign to do so, coz I’m not gonna filter any spoilers here.

Squid Game: TV Series(A Moview)

As an adult, we all go through the time where we need to work and sometimes we don’t get high-paying jobs so we tend to borrow money either from banks or from people we know but there are also borrowers who fail to pay their debts on time and just runaway from their collectors. I know that you can all relate to what I’m saying. Credit cards, bank loans and loan sharks, these are the samples of the ways you can borrow money but little did we know, interest rate is as much as harder to pay just like the credit that you owe them so sometimes we tend to pay late or we just cannot pay the whole amount and interest keeps increasing. Well, in short, we are paying double the money we borrowed.

So this new Korean drama is invading all the streaming sites and actually, many people are trying out the whole concept of squid game. This series is about a game where players play bunch of games that kids are used to play. However, the difference of this game from what we have seen when we were kids is that when you get eliminated, you’ll be eliminated literally, like gunshot elimination.

The World Began To Change

Soon, I will be going back to work but as it was expected, we aren’t sure about the business yet coz most of the business related to tourism is currently struggling.

I have been asked to go on leave with no pay since April 1st which was a bummer coz I needed money to pay bill…well actually, not only me, but everyone needs to pay the bills every month. It was a struggle on how to budget my remaining money on my account. I was thankful enough that I am living with some family members and they are supporting me on food and other necessities.

Staying at home with no paying job for 3 months has somehow changed my perception of the outside world. I saw how the world united and were divided as well because of the pandemic; I saw how the government where I was born has become the talk of the whole world. I also saw how my countrymen deal with just pressure given during this pandemic.

In the midst of a war, who would have known that there’s a possibility of fulfilling something small only to discover it’s something really big? This 2020, amongst the true stories adapted into a award winning movie, comes another story that will captured everyone’s heart.

Directed by Sam Mendes, 1917 is another memoir from the British soldiers during the World War I. The story was told by the director’s grandfather, Alfred Mendes and with his story, a great movie was made.
