The Way You Hurt Her…

The way you hurt her left her with dry eyes. She never showed you she cried, coz you won’t notice anyway. She never showed you how painful it was seeing your relationship fail, coz you never fought for it anyway. She never showed you she messed everything up after you left, coz you will never come back anyway. She never showed you how she struggled … Continue reading The Way You Hurt Her…

Hotel Mumbai: A History Painted by Terror (A Moview)

Hemant Oberoi: [to his staff] We should try to gather whoever we can. Many of you have families at home. There is no shame in leaving.
Butler Jamon: I have been here thirty-five years. This is my home.

Before we do the review, let’s just take a quick recap of whatever is happening in the news right now. Just a week ago, many of us were shocked by the news that a shooting attack happened in New Zealand and the gunman had filmed the whole thing live. Many of us, I’m sure, has witnessed the gruesome killing and we all pray for the souls of those who died.

The attack happened in Christ Church Mosque, stealing the lives of 50 of our Muslim friends and 50 more was left injured.

Just exactly a week after the attack, Hotel Mumbai was released. (Although the movie was pulled out and not released in New Zealand in respect for the event.) I know some of us might think it’s not important but I think the movie was released just in the perfect time.

For those who haven’t watched the movie, please do so. And of course, we will have to start this moview with a disclaimer.

Disclaimer: Everything that is written is a product of a research and a news compilation. This blog is merely about an opinion from my side being and with all of my might, I sincerely pray together with the families of all the deceased in both Mumbai and New Zealand Attacks.

This blog is written to review the Hotel Mumbai movie and to talk about the recent event that happened in New Zealand. Some facts about the Taj Hotel attack will be mentioned too.

Aquaman: A moview.

Arthur Curry: I’m not a king.
Mera: Atlantis has always had a king. Now it needs something more.
Arthur Curry: But what could be greater than a king?
Mera: A hero.

Another DC Movie installment has gone far and this time, it’s in the deep blue sea. Oh well, like my usual review, close your eyes, if you haven’t seen the movie, ‘coz I’m about to unleash tons of fishy revelations in and out of the surface.

The Hows Of Us: Crossing All Lines (Moview)

George: “Hindi ka na pwedeng bumalik dito, wala ka ng karapatan. You left, remember?”
Primo: “Pinaalis mo ako. Magkaiba ‘yun!”
George: “Pero umalis ka naman. Now, leave!

-Lines from the movie.

Currently a blockbuster hit with more than 400 million peso gross, another kathniel (Love team consists of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla) romantic drama is hitting all the local and international cinemas.

Directed by one of the most talented directors in the film history of the Philippines, Cathy Garcia-Molina, the movie is one of the most anticipated film of the year.

I’m not gonna raise any points yet, but this will be my first moview of a Filipino film (OPM- Original Pinoy Movie…hahaha you see what I did there? Yaaas!)

Please take this opportunity to discontinue reading if you haven’t watched the film yet, because I’m going to give this review a genuine, bop-to-the-top review. Kindly read at your own risk.

Curious yet? I know, I just watched this yesterday and I think it did me some good thinking, you know?

We All Have That One Ex…

“Don’t end up with a man who sounds like me, who say the things I say, who can make you smile just like I did. End up with someone who will do things that won’t remind you of me.” – Verbal words from my Ex to me.

They said that a love that is in the past, is a love that has to be forgotten, but what if that love was the only thing that keeps reminding you of how much it hurts to find another one again? Well, the famous quote from Alfred Lord Tennyson, “‘Tis better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.” is just a perfect explanation of everything I would want this blog to be understood of.

I’ve heard it from different people, they said it is hard to let go of something that you used to love and cherish; it is hard to let go of that person who made you feel so special and it is hard not to take your hopes up and expect for something better.

Over time, I realized how moving on doesn’t only mean you are over the person but moving on also means that you have forgotten the feeling and the regret you have when you let them go.

We all have that one ex that made us walk through a high bridge or touch the sky even if you look like a fool; that one person who made us feel like we are in a cloud 9 and that the world stops revolving around us when we’re together; that one person who made us eat veggies and home made fries instead of burgers and fries from fast food chains because they just do so and that one person who made us more comfortable watching movies leaning on their shoulders or spending the night over instead of partying with friends because they know that we have an exam coming for the next day. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: A Movie Review (Moview)

“It’s not like in the movies. It’s better, because it’s real.” ― Jenny Han, To all the boys I’ve loved before.

Last August 17, 2018, Netflix has released the movie version of the book written by Jenny Han entitled To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before and every one is taking their last breath, like I would know because I have a lot of opinion about it.

To all the bookworms who’ve read the three book series of TATBILB, this movie is probably your sweet escape to reality after getting lost with the sweet words written in those masterpieces. I mean, right now, the movie is the closest thing you have with the books.

And beware to all the non readers and those who haven’t seen the movie, this is not for you…please read at your own risk… Continue reading “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before: A Movie Review (Moview)”

The Opposites Of Life

You never see wonder until you put remorse on everything.

Like an ice cream, there won’t always be a filling.

Like a tear but never to be shed out of fear.

The strongest we are born, the least torn we grow.

Sadness won’t clear the room, if there is sorrow.

Five Reasons Why Single Girls Overthink

It’s not the status nor the relationship goals girls see on social media, it’s the fact that they are single. In this world full of relationship goals, we should remember there are the ‘singles’ not the boys but the girls who struggle with being alone in life. Yes, we have friends, but at the end of the day, singles will be singles.

So, Here are the top five reasons why girls tend to overthink things especially when they are single.

1. Because I’m on my mid 20s; like everyone my age is either engaged, married or steady with a husband and kids.tumblr_onsqunyisl1r0jkkko1_500

Girls are so much different from boys because most girls are put into pressure ‘if she won’t marry on her 30s, she won’t conceive a child anymore’. They are the ones who will bear a child, and the perfect age for the is on your mid 20s not only scientifically but also financially. It’ll be hard to raise a child if you have it on you mid 30s. I bet you are still working for the child’s school on your 50s which should be your close-to-retirement age already.

And old people say that it is better that you have a child on your 20s for you to be able to balance life, work and yourself. You are young and there’s still number of years to spend before your 30s. If you’re single, it’s a waste of time to sit there and watch ’em couples be happy. Continue reading “Five Reasons Why Single Girls Overthink”
