My Name: TV Series (Spoiler Alert)

From the mistress in the World of Married to having her own show in Nevertheless, Han So-Hee has become one of the sought after actresses in the Kdrama limelight. After the wild acting in the Nevertheless, I think jumping into a role that represents the ignited femme fatale in every woman is a major leap of faith. We all know who have done this major jump too, Park Shin-Hye is one of those actresses that I believe has this versatility when it comes to roles that she plays. And surprisingly, they have Han the chance to prove herself by having different kinds of roles.

Her new Korean Drama Series, My Name, is about a lady who’s father was believed part of the gangsters that were wanted in their place, however before she even get an clarification from her father, he was unfortunately killed in their doorstep during her birthday. The incident led her to finding the culprit and deciding to join the gangster that her father was a member of.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage

In the midst of the world getting excited about Shang Chi and other new characters on the Marvel world, here I am, geeking about Venom and Spiderman. This October, Marvel has released the second sequel of the 2018 movie Venom. Tom Hardy is still playing Eddie/Venom while Woody Harrelson still plays Cletus Kasady. I know this is a deeper villain story not even focusing on Spiderman at all but I think viewers deserve a story behind the infamous Venom and Carnage.

For those who aren’t familiar of comics, Carnage is the result of the merging of the alien symbiote, Venom, with Cletus Kasady during an encounter in a prison breakout. They call it the offspring of Venom but stronger, smarter and more dangerous. In the new sequel of Venom we all saw how Venom is connected to Eddie in more ways we can imagine.

To be able to live in Eddie’s body, in the first movie, they agreed that he will stay in his body but with certain condition and one of them is not to eat humans and eat chickens instead; the second one is that he can eat human brain only if necessary. I’m not sure how does that contract varies but yes, they live quite while munching on chocolates and chickens however the dismay of Venom was showed in the latest movie. It’s like their bond is starting to crumble.

Squid Game: TV Series(A Moview)

“All of you in this room are living on the edge, with depts you cannot pay off. If you don’t wish to play, please let us know.”

Squid Game, 2021.

As an adult, we all go through the time where we need to work and sometimes we don’t get high-paying jobs so we tend to borrow money either from banks or from people we know but there are also borrowers who fail to pay their debts on time and just runaway from their collectors. I know that you can all relate to what I’m saying. Credit cards, bank loans and loan sharks, these are the samples of the ways you can borrow money but little did we know, interest rate is as much as harder to pay just like the credit that you owe them so sometimes we tend to pay late or we just cannot pay the whole amount and interest keeps increasing. Well, in short, we are paying double the money we borrowed.

So this new Korean drama is invading all the streaming sites and actually, many people are trying out the whole concept of squid game. This series is about a game where players play bunch of games that kids are used to play. However, the difference of this game from what we have seen when we were kids is that when you get eliminated, you’ll be eliminated literally, like gunshot elimination.

The House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths

I know not every one enjoys a documentary but for me, documentaries are the best way to see the world in its real shape. I believe there are more than in the story and the subject themselves. We, as viewers can also learn from documentaries. I actually grew up watching Discover Channel, TLC and other Murder Mysteries, yes, I know, I even once dreamed of becoming a Forensic photographer but yeah, later on I think I don’t have the guts to be in that profession.

Anyway, why am I telling you this? Because just last week, October 8, Netflix has released a new documentary series entitled The House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths. This is the story about a family of 11 that was found dead in their home in Burari, India in 2018. Most of them were adults from three generations and minors. The dead bodies were found hanging as if it was a mass suicide however, some of the theories were that this is an act of murder. But the question is, how did this happen and who killed them? I know there’s so many question but in this documentary, all your questions will be asked.

No Time To Die (The Last Bow, 007)

From its signature intro music, to its the pre-scene credits, I have a very nostalgic moment watching the (I believe) the last entry for 007 movies. This is not your ordinary 007 movie coz this is bowing to be the last. And this also means that this will be the last time Daniel Craig will be playing the infamous action-favorite fictional character, James Bond. What … Continue reading No Time To Die (The Last Bow, 007)

There’s Someone Inside Your House (A Moview)

Classic thriller movies with the 90s vibes, that’s what I feel while watching this new movie released last September 23, this one movie is literally crossing the line between nostalgia and modernity, like I feel like it is time for Generation X to watch movies just like they were made in the 90s. Have you seen such? Well, let me give you the some of the top of my list, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Halloween, Friday The 13th, Jason VS Freddy, Scream, and many to mention.

Just few moviews ago, I even told everyone how I loved Fear Street Movies series coz yes, the vibes were there too. When I say vibes, I mean the normal slasher movie but still we getting a story out of it. Like you try to guess what’s gonna happen and still get surprised on the scene. Yah feel me?

He’s All That! (A Moview)

Talk about latest and trending, there’s this movie that was actually a remake of the 1999 movie “She’s All That” in which after the popular guy loses his girlfriend and social status, he went on a bet to make an unpopular girl in the campus be the PROM Queen and later on get his status back and maybe more than that as well. We all know those 90s teenage movies, like the Clueless movie as well and many more, these are the kind of movies we all grew up watching. It’s where the popular do a makeover to the geeky or not so beauty person in the campus and make them part of the society only for them to realized that they were part of the bet. Obviously many movies have done that through out the years and surprisingly, here’s another attempt of doing such but in the modern 2021 world. Uh, when I say 2021, I mean, this is the era where social media is ruling everything. Like 90s shows doesn’t have social media, instead they only have those flip or sliding phones where they talk to each other, trying to plan stuff and other things unlike now, high schoolers will just post everything on Instagram, Snapchat and people can view their stories even the ones whom they don’t know.

So let’s the movie, as you all know I don’t need to talk about the plot because we all know how it begins and ends but let’s talk about the actors especially the ones who are actually from the Tiktok world
