Fast & Furious 9: What’s there in the 9th?

All hail to one of the best action film series that was ever made in the history of films. In its 9th sequel, what more does the F&F entry has to offer? From the first movie till the last one that was filmed, we have seen most of the unimaginable, but is there really more? Haven’t we seen enough fancy cars and risk-taking action for … Continue reading Fast & Furious 9: What’s there in the 9th?

Justice League: Snyder’s Cut (A Moview)

We all have seen the 2017 version of the Justice League which was directed by Joss Whedon (the director of The Avengers). The 2017 version was originally credited to Zack Snyder but was forced to step out of the project because of personal reasons.

Just an early disclaimer: for those who haven’t watch both versions (2017 and Zack’s) please watch it first. Zack Snyder’s version is available in HBO Max and 2017 version is available in Netflix.

With that said, Joss had to do some fixing and he needs to finish what Zack had started and that brought us the said 2017 Justice League where Batman was able to put together the team that consists Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman, Cyborg and the newly resurrected Superman. But to all of the DC Fans, we were not THAT happy of the movie, you wanna know why? Because the movie was like fast forwarded without any substance and basically, the DC Extended Universe was ignored and only fragments from comics were included. Okay, that’s where fans hoped that there will be somehow ‘other’ version of the movie. Fans made it possible by bombarding social media with the campaign of having Snyder’s Cut of the Justice League. There was even a ‘Snyder Cut’ website made just to support this campaign. And then finally Warner Bros. announced on HBO Max the whole Snyder Cut last 2020. The campaign which was led for years has finally paid off!

And just recently, 18th of March 2021, the 242 minutes-long Snyder’s Cut of Justice League is released.

I’m not gonna go around the bush anymore, I will straight tell you the whole verdict and comparison, right here, right now!

Wonder Woman 1984: A Moview

Alright, so I realized, since the pandemic happened, I haven’t been in a movie theatre for a very long time which means, I have missed so many movies to watch and I regret all of those moment although I won’t jeopardize my health and the major budgeting that I am doing right now to be able to live because of the tourism industry (where I’m working) suddenly fell but I believe it will soon rise.

Anyway, enough with the drama, after almost 11 months of not being able to go to the cinema houses, I was determined to go out and be in it for this one particular movie and I’m talking about “Wonder Woman 1984” which premiered last Dec 17. You all know how I love comic superheroes especially their movie adaptation and we both know that it’s obvious how much I adore Wonder Woman, well, I call myself Wonder Roanne for a reason…

After few mishaps with regards the release dates, they finally release it December. This movie is considered as the sequel of the first Wonder Woman movie directed by Patty Jenkins in 2017 which was about how Wonder Woman finally discovered the other world…the world where man are the superiors. Wonder Woman is actually focused on how Diana discovered that mankind is just never easy to define, too many choices and opinion, this resembles the world we are living now, it’s just that, comics have superheroes to keep the peace in every corner of the imaginary world.

So let’s begin the movie review because of course, as a DC Comics fan, I have a lot things to say about this latest entry for my most favourite DC Superhero, second is The Flash, BTW. 🙂

Same as what I always remind my readers, I may have to tell some slight spoilers in this review so for those who haven’t watch the movie yet, stop right here and watch it. Come back when you already laid your eyes on it.

Rebecca: A Moview

Netflix have been releasing good movies lately and by good movies, I mean the ones which are best in novels and they make it more extravagant by adapting it into a film which serve some of the books better because who doesn’t want to see their favourite books come to life, right?

The latest one amongst the best is the latest film adaptation of the novel written by Daphne du Maurier on the same title in 1938 which was also adapted by Sir Alfred Hitchcock in 1940. The book/movie is all about the story of a newly wed couple who later on became

Work It: A Moview

Netflix has released a new movie recently that caters to all the high school kids out there! The movie is entitled Work It and it’s about a girl who is trying to pass her college interview. The movie lasted an hour and a half most likely and it’s all about giving the nostalgic feeling of Street Dance and Step Up movies.

The movie is focused on how a straight A student, Quinn Ackerman played by Sabrina Carpenter, make changes her college application by

Gabriel’s Inferno: A Moview

“I’m going to be thrown out of Paradise tomorrow, Beatrice. Our only hope is that you find me afterward. Look for me in Hell.”
Sylvain Reynard, Gabriel’s Inferno

A testify to a great book is of three total book series being loved by the masses and readers. Just last month, to my surprise, Passionflix has released a film adaption of Sylvian Reynard’s book entitled, Gabriel’s inferno-I have seen trailers last 2019-which is about a Dante specialist who fell in love with his student, whom he didn’t know was his Beatrice.

I won’t spill too much about it coz we will focus on the film and I believe it is a great time to make everyone read the book series before even watching the movie.

Let’s talk about the film which I’m sure many of you have no idea that was actually rolling until last May 29th. The film was directed by Tosca Musk, who made the film as close as possible to the book itself. Not to mention the cast,
