Squid Game: TV Series(A Moview)

“All of you in this room are living on the edge, with depts you cannot pay off. If you don’t wish to play, please let us know.”

Squid Game, 2021.

As an adult, we all go through the time where we need to work and sometimes we don’t get high-paying jobs so we tend to borrow money either from banks or from people we know but there are also borrowers who fail to pay their debts on time and just runaway from their collectors. I know that you can all relate to what I’m saying. Credit cards, bank loans and loan sharks, these are the samples of the ways you can borrow money but little did we know, interest rate is as much as harder to pay just like the credit that you owe them so sometimes we tend to pay late or we just cannot pay the whole amount and interest keeps increasing. So this new Korean drama is invading all the streaming sites and actually, many people are trying out the whole concept of squid game. FIFTY SHADES OF GREY: “My tastes are very singular…”

fifty_shades_of_grey_ver5_xlg

I’d love to salute the author of this best-selling series, E.L. James, for making every reader’s imagination possible because of the movie. Well, who doesn’t want to see a real-life Christian Grey & Anastasia Steele, right?

I’m a fan of the series, which left me really aching for a remake—it’s not like I’m telling you guys that the movie wasn’t great—because I just think it didn’t give that much justice for the book at all.

From 50 shades of grey to darker then to freed…I’m so hooked! And like I’m so in love with the books—I read them repeatedly and I actually intend to read them again tonight, then tomorrow and then next week—I like the attack of the story—as well as the fervid BDSM thing and that is another story—like the Bella Swan-like attitude of Ana, that was really dope and the forever-smitten-Edward-look of Mr. Grey, that was really cloth-dropping looks.

So let’s go back to the movie; I love the movie but I think I was a bit mortified because the scenes were too fast and weren’t that much elaborated just like in the book. All in all, the movie is beyond satisfaction but still a little fast phase than I ever expected. Well, if this will be the case, I would love to watch a 6 hour length movie just as to give justice of what is written in the book—super long movies are way better because everything is detailed and executed ardently—just like Gone with the Wind!

This is not a full review of whatever is not in the movie—I’m not a legal critic who was paid to say something good or bad about anything—I’m merely stating whatever is written in my head while watching the movie and comparing it with the book.

Hence, my 50 shades of wondering and brooding while watching the movie; Continue reading “FIFTY SHADES OF GREY: “My tastes are very singular…””
