A New Generation Of Zombies (All Of Us Are Dead Review and Theories)

I know this is a little bit late after all those trends about this latest Korean TV series by Netflix entitle All Of Us Are Dead. This is more famous than Squid Game, people! And I think that I have never seen an apocalypse becomes this hit. Well, Korean Dramas have been out in there for so many years and I think that they are always ahead of the game when it comes to dramas, they’re like next to USA but now, it seems like they are getting way better than the US-based TV Series. Even US had adapted few of their TV series, The Good Doctor to name one.

If you noticed, as the years pass by, movies are becoming more and more close to whatever is happening in the world. Example of these were catastrophic/disaster movies like The Day After Tomorrow, Contagion, 2012, Into The Storm, Geostorm, San Andreas, and The Core; these are the OGs when it comes to making viewers realize about the disaster that could happen if we don’t take care of the nature. I grew up watching documentaries about global warming, and the destruction of the ozone layer which I think is just two of the many problems that the earth is experiencing. And since the pandemic (Covid19) had spread, many documentaries about it had been released and some other fiction movies about widespread epidemic and apocalypse has been surfacing in the movie world. US was the first who made apocalypse be known and even the possibilities of other creatures living among us and the famous amongst all those creatures are the zombies (these are people who died and came back to life). US had made a successful show about it, The Walking Dead and they followed it with iZombie, Z-Nation, Warm Bodies, and Zombieland…but the Koreans were the ones who made it more true to life as they start to invest on creating Zombie TV Series and movies, one of those who really hot the blockbuster was Train to Busan, Alive and then followed by so many TV series but one that took the limelight was The Kingdom, it currently has two seasons and one movie prequel. This 2022, the Korean TV Production has yet again amazed everyone after the released of All Of Us Are Dead.

Emily in Paris: Is Second Chance Really Worth It?

Okay, this is the second season of Emily in Paris, I wrote a review before for the Season 1 which you can read HERE. It is about a story of an American lady who went to France for work but little did she know, France will change her life not only her work. Emily, upon arriving in France (Reference to Season 1) is literally the epitome of ignorance of culture. She just walks there with her English language without even having the initiative to learn the language which they actually portrayed well in the first season, yes it was funny but a little ignorant now that I realize how I personally not that giddy about the second season. Yes, girl, the second season was rather like a push to finish a cluttered plot.

Okay, I’m gonna start by writing what happens in Season 2. So Emily is getting used to the Paris life, in the last episode of s1, she hooked up with the chef, Gabriel, thinking he will be leaving Paris the next day but she was wrong, apparently she will have to live with the fact that she is now actually the bitch who fucked her best friend’s boyfriend, like good plot, ye? However, the major clutter comes next on the following episodes.

Single’s Inferno: Did just Koreans Change The Dating Game?

Many of us watches reality TV Shows like Big Brother, Survivor, Fear Factor, and even the dating reality TV Shows like Bachelor and Bachelorette, and the new ones were the Circle, Blind Dating, Too Hot to Handle and these shows were US based and just recently, at the end of 2021, the Korean’s got to enter the reality TV world again by releasing Single’s Inferno.

This TV show is streamed in Netflix with 8 episodes. You wanna know what is it all about? Yes, I will get there. But right now, let me tell you something about Korean Dramas, Music and Culture which been invading the whole world. I mean, it’s not bad, it’s a good thing that finally, asians were not only classified as Chinese, Japanese but also Koreans. Yes, most of my friends in the US still confuses the three cultures which I think is a bit helpful if the world is actually starting to know the difference of each one.

My Name: TV Series (Spoiler Alert)

From the mistress in the World of Married to having her own show in Nevertheless, Han So-Hee has become one of the sought after actresses in the Kdrama limelight. After the wild acting in the Nevertheless, I think jumping into a role that represents the ignited femme fatale in every woman is a major leap of faith. We all know who have done this major jump too, Park Shin-Hye is one of those actresses that I believe has this versatility when it comes to roles that she plays. And surprisingly, they have Han the chance to prove herself by having different kinds of roles.

Her new Korean Drama Series, My Name, is about a lady who’s father was believed part of the gangsters that were wanted in their place, however before she even get an clarification from her father, he was unfortunately killed in their doorstep during her birthday. The incident led her to finding the culprit and deciding to join the gangster that her father was a member of.

YOU: Season 3 (A Moview)

The universe has a funny way of keeping us humble. That beating was karmic. I know it. I did a bad thing today but for a good reason, and if there is any justice in the world, you are the reward for all of my suffering.

Joe Goldberg, YOU Season1

And there you have it, another hand down to Joe Goldberg for making all the red flags yet again so unclear. Yes, you know why I said this? Coz the TV Series YOU is making us confuse on what red flags really are, are we naturally masochistic or we just enjoy domination…ooops that’s for Mr. Grey to decide though. Anyway, It’s been two seasons passed and here we are again, getting together for one purpose only and it is to see another Joe Goldberg story but this time the plot is a lot more interesting coz not only Joe have found his soulmate but he has his life imprisoned from his own sins. IF you haven’t watched the 1st and 2nd season then this is your sign to do so, coz I’m not gonna filter any spoilers here.

Today’s moview is going to be detailed and effectively explaining along the way what happened to the ending. How exciting right? So if you are ready to unveil the new side of Joe as a family man, then let’s go! Go ahead and ready the next paragraphs at your own risk.

Squid Game: TV Series(A Moview)

“All of you in this room are living on the edge, with depts you cannot pay off. If you don’t wish to play, please let us know.”

Squid Game, 2021.

As an adult, we all go through the time where we need to work and sometimes we don’t get high-paying jobs so we tend to borrow money either from banks or from people we know but there are also borrowers who fail to pay their debts on time and just runaway from their collectors. I know that you can all relate to what I’m saying. Credit cards, bank loans and loan sharks, these are the samples of the ways you can borrow money but little did we know, interest rate is as much as harder to pay just like the credit that you owe them so sometimes we tend to pay late or we just cannot pay the whole amount and interest keeps increasing. Well, in short, we are paying double the money we borrowed.

So this new Korean drama is invading all the streaming sites and actually, many people are trying out the whole concept of squid game. This series is about a game where players play bunch of games that kids are used to play. However, the difference of this game from what we have seen when we were kids is that when you get eliminated, you’ll be eliminated literally, like gunshot elimination.

Gossip Girl: XOXO, She’s Back!

“We’re sisters. You’re my family. What is you is me. There’s nothing you could ever say that would make me let go.”

Blair Waldorf, Gossip Girl 2007

Apparently, there’s a new scoop going around Manhattan after 8 years of being asleep, our beloved Gossip Girl is back! HBO Max just or should I say finally reprise Gossip Girl and it’s all we have been waiting for! Since its premiere in 2007, Gossip Girl is the no. 1 go-to of all high school girls like me. It became our creative standards when it comes to IT Girl TV Shows.

No one can beat Serena and Blair-two high school best friends who are facing the pressure of being an IT Girl around a very pressuring society of Manhattan. We have lived almost the whole high school and college, well, I’d say I did, and survived it because of them. Their mottos became my mantra. I know as a fan you will hear that all through out this article.

I was actually late to hear about this because I was too busy at work but last week I was able to

TV Series You Need To Binge-watch this 2021

Hey guys! I know I haven’t been writing too much lately but I tried my best to keep up. I haven’t been so updated with movies because of the closing of cinemas so I’m rather stuck with subscribing TV Streaming apps such as Starzplay, OSN, Disney+, AppleTV, VIU and Netflix, well, I’m sure there’s other more.

There are so many latest TV Series and Movies which were actually available and if you need some fix on watching old TV Series, there are avaialbale ones too so here’s my list for 2021.

Let’s call this a part 1 of many.

  1. Bridgerton (Netflix) – Based on a novel series The Duke and I for Julia Quinn. It’s more like an English version of Gossip Girl. Well, I’d give this rating a 5 star because I love the books and I trust a series if it’s produced by The Shonda Rhimes. So if you enjoyed Gossip Girl, might as well, meet Lady Whistledown.

2. Mandalorian (Disney+) – It is the first live-action series in the Star Wars franchise, beginning five years after the events of Return of the Jedi (1983). So if you love Star Wars, this one’s for you! Plus, I love seeing baby Yoda!

3. Bling Empire (Netflix) – If you never got the hang from Crazy Rich Asians, then this new reality show about real-life rich Asians who are constantly enjoying their lavish life more than any rich people can imagine. I’m talking about signature brands and high-fashion jewelry plus the drama in this documentary is very much a representation of the rich Asian Community in Los Angeles.
