Under Paris Movie Review

Rating: 3 out of 5.

Who can imagine a life with so many sharks around? Well, how about imagine having so many sharks and one can actually kill an entire city? This movie that’s released on Netflix is definitely one of the stressful movies that you’ll ever encounter, aside from having the anxiety of trying to stop whoever is trying to mess up the plan in the entire plot, I guess you’re just going to hate ever bit of one character’s attitude.

Well, This is one of the craziest film I have ever since, but yes, crazy good. I’m talking about Under Paris, a movie that focuses on a grieving scientist who lost her entire team while researching about this rare breed of shark. The shark was unexpected to be growing a little faster than the normal phase and actually was able to grow huge and stronger. Now, in the present day, they need to save everyone in Paris coz this huge shark is swimming in Paris. How? That’s for you to watch the movie.

Can’t Buy Me Love: Something New To The Standards (Series Review)

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

If there’s so much more to look forward to movies and tv series, it is the new plots and standards for Philippine Cinema and Series, I’m proud to say that from the movies released for the MMFF (Metro Manila Film Festival) last year, there’s a lot of big changes to the plots, the character build ups and cinematography. Filipino production has exerted efforts to catch up with the standards set by Korean TV series and Movies for the past few years.

This year, Star Magic (A popular celebrity agency and production in Philippines) has gone to lengths unimaginable, releasing so many TV Series that are best to compare to some of the Korean Dramas we have watched in the past. First of all, I would love to speak highly about the recently completed series Senior High, Starring Andrea Brillantes, playing the role of twin girls who entered an a elite school only for one of them to die and one to investigate the whole incident.

The Idea of You: Anne Hathaway’s Refreshing Role in a May-December Love Story

Rating: 3.5 out of 5.

Is this the time for the era to get used to couples with huge age difference, especially on films? Well, to tell you the truth, there’s so little of those May-December affair films that were released throughout the years because as i have noticed, people are still not used to doing the whole thing because there are still huge commenting about it but in reality this is happening with some couples who have huge age differences.

The movie The Idea of You is about a 40 year old woman named, Solene, who happens to attend Coachella to be her daughter’s chaperone and meets a 24 year old, Hayes, who is in boy band performing that day in Coachella. They met in Hayes’ trailer after Solene thought it was a public trailer.

Released in 1976, The Omen is a story about a couple who lost their child at birth, Robert and Kathy was supposed to have given birth to a baby boy but sadly the child was dead. Before Kathy even wakes up to know the bad news, Robert was informed by the doctor that there is an orphaned child whose mother unfortunately died after giving birth to him and so, the desperate man decided to take the baby and keep it like its his own without his wife knowing. Aang! Yes, you know it! From Nickelodeon, the famous cartoon has released its live action this 2024. We all know Aang as the Avatar, we have seen its cartoons in 2005, to my memories, it had 3 seasons and it was a kid friendly cartoon.

Avatar is a story of a world where 4 elements lead the balance of life, Air, Water, Land and Fire, these elements create the balance that the world of Avatar needs and there comes the Avatar, the only creature who can bend all the the elements, making him/her the leader of all elements. Madame Web Review

Rating: 1 out of 5.

We all know that Spider-man has so many multiverse versions, to name the most recent one, Spider-man: Across the Verse, the whole Spider-man shows that there’s an endless possibilities of Spider-man versions. Even in movies, we saw three different Spider-man versions played by Toby Mcguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland and even the part where we are seeing Venom in the latest version. It’s like yes, we are in this Spider-man multiverse but we are actually updated of whatever can happen in each multiverse. Thanks to Marvel/Disney for not doing any big leap on changing Spider-man stories, most of these movies were actually close to the comics.

Mean Girls 2024

Rating: 3 out of 5.

After 20 years, they finally made a remake of Lindsay Lohan’s popular movie with Rachel McAdams. This is one of the movies that hit the numbers during its released in 2004 because of its relatable story about American high school.

This is a story of Cady Heron played by Lindsay Lohan, who finally had a chance to enter school after traveling with her parents and doing home schooling. She was from Africa and she doesn’t know the hierarchy in the school setting until she entered her new school; discovering that it is not easy to find your people, Cady struggled to belong and found company with two of her only new friends, Janice and Damian.

Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom

Rating: 3 out of 5.

What else do we really need to know about Aquaman, aside from his roots? Well, the previous movie entry left us a cliffhanger and it only meant that of course, it is another DC Movie, so we will have to expect something but it took them at least 5 years to have a follow up movie which I think is very long considering there’s so much to have it connected with, I guess trying t connect movies from the DC Universe is a little too complicated because they ahve been failing on doing such from the previous years. All we had were Batman and Wonder Woman having a consistent entry but not so exciting too, I’d rather watch Suicide Squad repeatedly because the story line is quite better than the mainstream heroes lately.
